National Junior Angus Show will be held in Des Moines, Iowa from July 13-20, 2008

Juniors from across the United States will gather for one of the largest Junior Angus shows. If you would information about the show you may contact the National Juniors Angus Association.



EAST  TENNESSEE  ANGUS  ASSOCIATION  NEWS

National Junior Angus Board Member, Walt Stinson is the son of Robert and Jan Stinson of Stinson Angus Farms in Talbott, TN. Majoring in pre-veterinary medicine, Stinson attends Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. Upon graduating his plans include pursuing a doctoral of dentistry degree. Stinson has been active in the Tennessee Junior Angus Association as well as the East Tennessee Angus Association. He also has served on the Atlantic National Junior Council.

Walt will serve a two year term on the NJAS board.


The Tennessee Junior Angus Association would like to thank the East Tenn. Angus Association for the donation made to them to help cover some of the cost of the meals at the National Junior Angus Show held in Tulsa, OK,  in July.   Your support is greatly appreciated.

Walt Stinson placed in the top 15 in the national showmanship contest.
Walt Stinson won an Angus Foundation scholarship
Hannah Wright place 2nd in the Intermediate Division in Public Speaking contest.
Austin Plemons cow/calf pair Champion Hill Georgina 4222 (9-3-04) placed 1st in her class.
